Abstract


PERIODICALS PUBLISHED BY BOSNIAN AND HERZEGOVIANS OTTOMAN AND AUSTRIA-HUNGARY (THE REGIME OF BENJAMIN KALLAY) PERIODS
Most of the copyrighted and translated works are available in libraries, museums and archives. During the historical process of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the majority of these works were collected in the Gazi Hüsrev Bey Library in Sarajevo. This first and largest library in Bosnia was established in 1537. Many works by Bosnian scholars have been written since 1878 are also in this library. The library also has an important accumulation of periodicals. There were periodicals outside the geography of Bosnia-Herzegovina in this historical process. Thanks to the magazines and newspapers published in Bosnia-Herzegovina during these periods, it is possible to follow the country's politics, culture, agriculture and social life. Therefore, thanks to the publications during these periods, it allows us to examine the history of the press in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which have been characterized marked by certain political and legal events: Press and Broadcasting Activities in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Ottoman Period (1463-1878) and in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Austro-Hungarian Period of the term Joint Finace Minister Benjamin Kallay (1882-1902).
