Abstract
ANALYZING THE FOLK SONGS ABOUT LOVE AND SEPARATIONS SANG BY THE TURKS FROM MACEDONIA
In the oral folk literature, the folk songs are reflecting the point of vu to the world, sorrow, sadness and the joy of Turks from Macedonia during the centuries. For the purpose of long-lasting folk songs, they have to have a deep meaning and topics that will leave long lasting traces. Only in this way, it is possible that folk song being transferred to other generations. The folk songs are sang not only from the people performing them, but also from all people. Turkish folk literature in Macedonia transferred many events during the history to these days, the people’s events full of sorrow and their hopelessness, their migrations, braveries reflected to the folk songs.
In the folk songs sang in Macedonia, the topics of love and separation are dominant. Mostly these separations have connections with love. The separations are treating with nostalgia to the darling, sometimes to the mother, to homeland and it is the topic of folk songs in every meaning.
We, analyzing the topics of love and separation in folk songs compiled in Macedonia, we will treat the reasons of separations in three aspects, which are working abroad, military service and the requiems. In the frame of this study, there are treated folk songs sang and established in Macedonia. In this frame there is made a study and established that there are mostly folk songs treating the topics of love and separation.
