Abstract
A CHILD MAGAZINE PUBLISHED IN KOSOVO: TÜRKÇEM
Türkçem is a children's magazine published in Kosovo since 1999. This magazine, which was published monthly, reached 193 publications on December 2016. Zeynel Beksaç is the editor of the magazine. After the war, in order to fill the vacancy in that area she was expelled. The magazine which was distributed around Kosovo, became very popular around students, also became an important part of the lessons. The magazine includes poems, stories, fairytales, legends, biographies and jokes as well as puzzles for children. This magazine contributed a lot in the strengthening of Turkish identities among Turkish children and in the development of Turkish literature for children.
Our purpose is to examine Turkçem magazine that loaded up an important mission after the war, in terms of form, content, and writer staff.
