IS THERE A SACRIFICE OF HUMAN AS A RITUEL ON THE NARRATION IN WHICH BASAT MURDERS TEPEGÖZ?
The sacrifice, who is confronted as one of the basic practices of almost all religious beliefs, means an animal that is cut off to approach God in general terms. The sacrificial ritual, which is performed in two main applications as bloody and bloodless, is generally confronted as one of the most basic applications of all religions. The sacrifice the Turks offer to every object they have sacred throughout history has often been diversified, being one of the main religious practices. As one of the unique works of the Oguz Turks, Dede Korkut, who confronts him, is able to come across the traces of his sacrifice practices. Are these traces of human victimization seen? Is there a ritual human sacrifice in the description of Basat murders Tepegöz? In this article, the answer to the questions about the human sacrifice will be searched in detail. Anthropological considerations and historical trends related to human sacrifice will be considered as contexts and will be tried to be given together with the contradictory thoughts of the researchers as to whether they are victims of human beings in Turks. After these general evaluations, in the Dede Korkut narrations of Oğuz Turks will try to trace the traces of human sacrifice.
