For this reason, the Federal State of Germany signed the Ankara Agreement with Turkey in 1961. Worker migration to Germany becomes hope for people who leave their country for different reasons. The migrant workers who are away from their own lifestyle, tradition, customs, habits and who are in touch with other different cultures become to be named as “other” in the society. The guest workers who have different problems as language learning, cultural shocks, identity problems, write their thoughts and feelings under the Migrant Literature. Bekir Yıldız is one of the writers in the field of the Migrant Literature. Because of having seen the oppression and persecution in his own land, Yıldız went to Germany through the labor migration agreement, and he took a crack living in a different country with different problems. “German Bread” is one of his books that is about his experience as a migrant worker in Germany.
