Abstract
An Analysis on the Novel named Galîz Kahraman by İhsan Oktay Anar
Ridicule novel, one of the social novel types, is a type that common social problems and wrong implementions has criticized. With humour and criticism, the novel named "Galîz Kahraman" has the feauters of this kind and is an example with the social criticism of 20th century. The aim of our study is analyzing İhsan Oktay Anar and his novel Galîz Kahraman with a wide perspective. The design of the research is the screening of qualitative research designs. A document review was used to collect the data. In the analysis of the data, content analysis was used. In this research, external structure of the novel, perspective, story line, time and place features, contrast factors has been focused on. Cross-references, references to mythological chracters and different novels and allegoric wording drow attention in the novel. This usage makes Galîz Kahraman diffrent from other novels and makes İhsan Oktay Anar different from last period writers.
