The literary tradition in which the Arabic letters and the literary works in the Bosnian popular language called Alhamiyado by Bosniaks, was formed under the influence of the tradition of Islam and Turkish Sufism together with Turkish dominance. The artifacts formed in a 350 year period have shown considerable diversity in subject and form. The earliest samples of this tradition began to emerge in the late 16th century. In the works that were brought to body in that term Arabic alphabet was used in the works and the Turkish-Islamic influence was structurally observed clearly. Besides the rapid spread of Islam, by emerging of the madrasas educating im Islamic style, Alhamiyado literature has begun to enter into the domain of religious Sufi Turkish folk literature thanks to the the names of those who are educated in these madrasas are rapidly found in eastern literature and languages. Besides that, the impetuous spreading lodges in the region ensured that the tradition of mysticism interpreted by the Turkish influence spread rapidly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that the classical structure of Alhamiyado literature in the form we have defined was completed.
