Abstract


AYTÜL AKAL’S TALES’ MESSAGE ON ESSENTİAL PROBLEMS OF A TODAYS CHİLDREN
In this study, fifty-eight tales, written by Aytül Akal and included in the book named “Tale Tale” were examined in terms of addressing the essential problems of today’s children. The first part of this study consists of four parts; the first part contains the definitions and explanations about the concepts; the second part contains the method section which shows how the research data are collected and analyzed; the findings part where the data obtained in the third part are presented; and the fourth part, result section. Qualitative research methods were used in the research, literature review and content analysis were performed. Fifty-eight fairy tales are coded individually by the initials of their names (eg: Bean Motor Flying Saucer = FMUD) to facilitate work while keeping up-to-date and up-to-date tales in fifty-eight tales. In addition, a part related to the subject was used in the study on the electronic meeting with Aytül Akal on 15/08/2015. As a result of the research, three current problems were identified in the fifty-eight tales written by Aytül Akal. These problems are: Unconscious use of technology, lack of habit of reading books, unhealthy nutrition. Considering the data obtained from the study, it has been determined that these problems in tales can provide resource for children and children who play a role in raising awareness and providing desired behavior change.
