Abstract
READING OFFERINGS FOR KITAB-I GUZIDE AMONG MIXED HISTORICAL DIALECT WORKS
Kitab-ı Guzide is one of the mixed historical dialect works (mixed dialect works) which is mentioned along with Behçetu’l-Hadaik, Ali’s Kıssa-yı Yusuf, translation of Kuduri, Kitabu’l Feraiz, Kitab-ı Gunya, Şerhu’l-Menar… in the Turkic language history. In the article of mixed historical dialect works, which is also called as the question of Olga- Bolga in the field of Turcology, many different views were asserted, there have been various researches on works aforesaid in terms of their form and phonetic features. Kitab-ı Guzide has been known as Guzide, Guzide Kitabı, Kitab-ı Guzide, Akaid-i Islam by science world. Kitab-ı Guzide, written by Ebu Nasr Bin Tahir bin Muhammed es-serahsi, was translated into old Anatolian Dialect by Muhammed Bin Bali. Currently, there have been sixteen copies of Kitab-ı Guzide with different names both in Turkey and abroad. In this study a new reading is offered related to the copy of the publication (Serhat Küçük, Kitab-ı Guzide, Kesit Yay. 2014) which is registered as numbered 104 Yk. D. K. By 865/1-3 in the library of Konya. In this article, it is aimed at contributing to the parts of dictionary and index by offering certain readings in the light of historical texts of Turkic language in order to make it more legible through dealing with textual construct of Kitab-ı Guzide.
