Abstract

PHRASEOLOGICAL UNİTS IN TURKİSH LANGUAGE AND DIFFICULTIES IN TRANSLATİNG THEM INTO UKRANİAN
Nowadays in consequence of the development of economic, cultural and political relations we need highly educated people who know foreign languages. Language plays very important role in the understanding of people of different cultures. In this article we tried to identify the problems of translation of phraseological units (hereinafter referred to as PU) into Ukrainian. Most of the PU came from the people’s language. They show the different parts of the life of nation. Most of them are the mirror of daily life of people. Various PU appear by the reason of grammar mistakes that people make. While learning foreign language people also have to learn the folklore of the native speakers. PU are indeed the part of the folklore. They are also the unique parts of the language. The meaning of the PU does not depend on the words this PU consists of. They are stable language unities.
