Abstract

ANIMAL SYMBOLISM IN TALES OF TURKMENSAHRA TURKMENS IN THE CONTEXT OF MYTHOLOGICAL CONCEPTIONS
The ideas connected to the mythical reality, which constitutes the oldest traditional world view in human history, have been preserved in narrative texts such as epic narrative, legend, and folk tale along with beliefs that have lost this reality phenomenon over time and have sometimes been emptied. One of the genres in which the mythological texture is reflected in these narrative texts is the fairy tales. Fairy tales have preserved their mythological worldview within their own narrative logic. In particular, mythological elements reflected in fairy tale texts are thought to be based on animal symbolism. In this article, mythological conceptions connected to animal symbolism reflected in fairy tale texts in the narrative tradition of Turkmensahra Turkmens are examined. The data required for the study consists of materials obtained between 06.07.2019-01.10.2019 in the context of Interview interview techniques in the area of Turkmensahra.
