Özet
Hikâyecilik, Türk edebiyatında önceleri sözlü ardından yazılı olarak gelişimini sürdüren bir türdür. Tanzimat edebiyatıyla yeni bir form kazanan hikâye, o tarihten sonra da değişerek gelişmeye devam etmiştir. Hikâyenin müstakil bir tür olarak kabul edilmesiyle birlikte bu alanda özgün yazarlar yetişmiştir. Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk edebiyatı hikâye yazarları; bu türde yenilikler yapmayı sürdürmüş ve kendi hikâye tarzlarını meydana getirmişlerdir.
Mustafa Kutlu, Türk hikâyeciliğine yeni bir soluk getiren isimlerdendir. Hikâyeciliğe klasik tarzla başlayıp zaman içinde kullandığı hikâye formu, dil ve anlatım özellikleri gibi pek çok yönden “kendine özgü” olarak nitelendirilebilecek bir tarz oluşturmuş, uzun hikâye türü ile özdeşleşmiştir. Bu çalışmada Mustafa Kutlu’nun hikâyeciliğine dair unsurlar, Mavi Kuş adlı eseri üzerinden tespit ve takdim edilmeye çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
Story writing is a kind of Turkish literature that keeps on developing in written and then verbally. Story writing, which had had a new form with Tanzimat literature, continued to develop by evolving from that date on. With the story being considered as an independent genre, unique authors emerged in this field. The story writers of the Turkish literature in the republican period continued to make innovations in this genre and created their own story styles.
Mustafa Kutlu is one of those who brought a new breath to Turkish story writing. He has started to story writing with classical style and created a new genre which can be defined as “unique” in many ways such as story form and grammatical features. He is identified with long story type. In this study, the prominent elements about the story writing of Mustafa Kutlu will be tried to detected and presented through his work Mavi Kuş.
