Abstract
BESİM ATALAY’S DRAMAS CALLED BAŞ BELALARI AND ITS ANALYSIS
Besir Atalay, published in 1926 verse drama called Baş Belaları consists of three scenes are written with syllabic and 7 pole in general. The contents occurring in the late Ottoman period is emphasized on various social problems. The first of these problems are the taxes unduly experienced in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. Other villagers poverty, due to prolonged wars and nationalist movement formed in the non-Muslim subjects of the soldiers with their families they left behind is a great hatred of the Turks. Also among the matters contemplated in the theater degenerating religion and religious interests of the clergy who in the last years of the Ottoman Empire instruments.
