Özet
Anlam bilgisi, Türkoloji’nin ihmal edilmiş alanlarından biridir. Dilin ses, şekil, söz dizimi özelliklerinin yanı sıra söz varlığının bir başka deyişle anlam yönünün de ayrıntılı bir biçimde ele alınması gerekmektedir. Bu sayede dilin kavram alanları belirlenip o dili konuşanların evrene bakış açısı ortaya konmuş olacaktır. Bu çalışmada oldukça geniş bir sözcük kadrosuna sahip olan ışık ve ateş kavramları ele alınmıştır. İnsanoğlunun beslenme, barınma, aydınlanma, ısınma gibi temel ihtiyaçlarını karşılayan bu iki kavram, inanç sistemleri bağlamında da çeşitli fonksiyonlar yüklenmiştir. Tarihî dönemlere ait 70 eserin taranması sonucu ilgili kavram alanlarına ait 293 sözcük tespit edilmiştir. Bu makalede, tespit edilen sözcüklerin mecaz anlam özellikleri ortaya konmuştur. Çalışmanın Giriş bölümünde, konuya ilişkin terimler üzerinde durulmuş, ilgili kavramlar etrafında daha önce yapılmış çalışmalardan bahsedilmiştir. İnceleme bölümünde, 293 sözcüğün listesi verilmiş, bu sözcükler isim ve fiil kategorisi ayrı ayrı olmak kaydıyla, metin tanıklatmalarıyla birlikte ilgili başlıklar altında ele alınmıştır. Sonuç bölümünde ise çalışma neticesinde elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
Semantic is one of the neglected areas of Turcology. Language’s phonetical, morfological, syntactic characteristics, as well as the meaning of the word, in other words, the meaning of the direction must be addressed in detail. In this way, the concept areas of the language will be determined and the point of view of those who speak the language will be revealed. In this study, the concepts of light and fire which have quite a large word staff are discussed. These two concepts, which meet the basic needs of human beings such as nutrition, housing, enlightenment and warming, have also been imposed on various functions in the context of belief systems. As a result of screening 70 works belonging to historical periods, 293 words of related concept areas were determined. In this article, metaphoric meaning properties of the words are determined. In the Introduction section of the study, the terms related to the subject are emphasized and the previous studies about the related concepts are mentioned. In the review section, a list of 293 words has been given and these words are discussed under the relevant titles together with the text reviews, with the name and verb category separately. In the conclusion section, the data obtained as a result of the study were evaluated.
