Abstract
POEMS WITH NESÎMÎ PSEUDONYM THAT WERE NOT PUBLISHED BEFORE AND THAT TAKE PLACE IN A POETRY COLLECTION
It is possible to encounter new poems that were identified for the first time, as poems published previously are found in poetry magazines, which have an important place in our culture and literature history. Together with the identification of poems not found in the divan of poets, the poems are identified in magazines and the missing parts of the divan are completed and the divan becomes complete. Seyyid Nesîmî is one of the poets whose many poems were brought to light through researches on poetry magazines. In this study, Nesîmî pseudonym poems in the Suleymaniye Library Galata Mevlevi Collection number 170 were discussed. 99 of 111 poems with a pseudonym Nesim in the magazine belong to Seyyid Nesîmî and 4 of them belong to Kul Nesîmî. A poem was created by combining the strings taken from the poems of Seyyid Nesîmî and Kul Nesîmî. In the said magazine it was determined that 4 ghazels with Nesîmî pseudonym did not take part in both the divan publications and later published works of Seyyid Nesîmî, that 1 gazelle and 1 pentastich were recorded in different studies on behalf of other poets, while a gazelle had serious differences with a previously published gazelle. These differences were demonstrated in footnotes by comparison. The confusion of Seyyid Nesîmî and Kul Nesîmî poems, and even the presence of repetitive poems in their divan, which is published today, is a serious problem. Although a definitive decision is not present about the origin of these poems (to which Nesimi they belong to), which are not included in the Kul Nesîmî Divan, this study includes a translation of the poems with the aim that it may provide contribution to the studies to be made about Nesimi.
