Abstract
A COMPARATIVE OVERVIEW ON THE “YOK” GHAZALS WRITTEN WITH REPEATED VOICE OF NESİMİ AND ŞEYHİ
Comparative literature studies have been carried out in the field of classical Turkish literature in recent years and when the studies are examined; There are noteworthy works that have been studied in the context of Diwan poetry. In this study, “+sı yok” the redif ghazals of Nesimi and Şeyhi, which are important in the formation phase of the Diwan poetry, have been examined and compared.
Nesimi is a poet who grew up in Azerbaijan in the second half of the 14th century and created a work with the characteristics of this Azerbaijani dialect. Although he was educated in Azerbaijan, he is known as an important figure in the formation of the Diwan literature. Şeyhi is a poet who was born and raised in Kütahya in the first half of the 15th century. He is considered to be one of the founders of Diwan poetry in Anatolia.
In the comparison study of Nesimi and Şeyhi's “+sı yok” redif both ghazels were examined in terms of form, content, ghazels, word types, affixes and word origins, and the similarities and differences in both ghazals were revealed. These two ghazals of Nesimi and Şeyhi, which are the basis of this study, which can contribute to the comparative Diwan poetry created by considering both form and content features, have shown similarities and differences with each other when taken into consideration in all aspects, this situation is the main output of this study.
