Abstract
ON THE SAYING OF A SENTENCE / THE PROBLEM OF JUMPING IN DEDE KORKUT’S GÜNBED MANUSCRIPT
The number of Dede Korkut manuscripts increased to four with the discovery of Ankara (2017) and Günbed (2019) manuscripts. The Ankara manuscript is missing from the end, and the Günbed manuscript is incomplete from the beginning. Despite this, it is clear that these new manuscripts should be taken into account for research on Dede Korkut. The Günbed manuscript has a different and privileged place than the other three manuscripts, as it is a separate Oğuzname and is the biography of Kazan Bey. It is noteworthy that the writer made some skipping mistakes in the Günbed manuscript. Here in this article, an example of an omission that has not been addressed in the text publications has been focused on and a repair proposal is made.
