Abstract
BULGARIA, DELIORMAN KIZILBASH BABAI'S MUSIC (DULOVO, SÖĞÜTLÜ VILLAGE EXAMPLE)
There are various sub-groups such as Turks, Tatars, Gagauz, Sunnis, Alevis (Babai) within the structures that we deal with under the general title of Bulgaria Turks. Each group has a certain degree of cultural diversity. Music, which has an effective functional role within this cultural texture, is especially important in the Babai community in the ritual context. The use of music in ritual contexts, the structure of their music, verbal texture, instruments, performance styles, and the evaluation of these features in the context of cross-border cultural continuity by comparing them with similar structures in Turkey fall within the scope of this article. In addition, concepts such as cultural interaction, interculturality, cultural isolation and cultural barrier are discussed, and the notes of two folk songs recorded in the field are also included in the study.
