'“Çocuk ve Yuva Magazine”' It is a children's magazine that was active between 1953-1983. The magazine was published by the Child Protection Agency and consists of three hundred and twenty-nine issues. The magazine was published monthly and due to school holidays in summer, the June-July and August-September issues were combined. For this reason, the magazine published ten issues a year. In this study, one hundred and twelve issues of the magazine covering the years 1953-1963 were analysed. In the study, the fairy tales published in ‘Çocuk vBe Yuva Magazine’ between the years 1953-1963 were introduced. The function of the tales in the magazine in terms of form and content is indicated. The tales are presented chronologically with their summaries. Based on the summaries given, the subjects on which the texts focus and the values to be conveyed to children have been revealed by the examination. It is seen that not only Turkish fairy tales but also fairy tales from various countries are included in the fairy tales in ‘Çocuk ve Yuva Magazine’. Both the anonymous ones and the ones with a specific author were translated and included in the content of the magazine. Thus, a more universal attitude has been displayed.
