Abstract
AN INTERPRETATION OF GÜVEN ADIGÜZEL'S POEMS FROM AN IMAGINATIVE PERSPECTIVE
For Güven Adıgüzel, one of the poets of the 2000s, poetry is a quest, an inner struggle, and a way of saying "I am here." Rather than presenting social themes with ideological rawness, Adıgüzel conveys them through a filter of reality. His poems reflect a wide range of subjects such as love, separation, loneliness, sorrow, death, childhood, mother, father, faith, and history. This study, titled An Analysis of Güven Adıgüzel’s Poetry, has been prepared based on the observation that no comprehensive research has previously been conducted on this topic. In this study, five of the poet’s collections; Eşkâlim Rehin, Hiç, Kimse Kıpırdamasın, Kadraj Hataları, and Kararsızlar Dağıtıldıktan Sonra have been examined. The study consists of three main chapters: Introduction, The Life and Poetry of Güven Adıgüzel, and An Analysis of Güven Adıgüzel’s Poetry.
