As in all genres of written literature works, folk literature products take an important place in emergence and development of theatre. And so does in emergence and development of Kazakh theatre. Kazakh playwrights firstly formed a repertoire by using rich materials living in oral culture. They made also use of western classical dramas while writing their first dramas. However, Kazakh playwrights managed to create their own national theatric heroes, by using folkloric heroes in the history of Kazakh literature.
In this study, stage actors of Kazakh dramas are compared with those of western, to reveal the potential of creating a new heroe reaching of dramatists of Kazakh literature.
In dramatical works of Kazakh literature written basically on Kazakh oral literature products, characters resembling those popular in western classical dramas do not link to any special efforts or any imitations of Kazakh dramatists. In this study it was revealed that the heroes reaching the level of type already exist in Kazakh literature.
