Abstract
THE CONNECTION BETWEEN TURKISH PROVERBS AND MACEDONIAN PROVERBS IN MACEDONIA
The adventure of the Turkish proverbs in the Balkans is based on a result of thousands of years of their collection, which leads and makes them stereotypes. The arrival of the Turks on the Balkans belongs to the Iskit era (Scythian era). Although it is said that they had come many thousands of years ago, the precise moment is between the second and the fourth century B. C. (Before Christ). From that period of time until 13-the century when Ottomans began to govern the Balkans and the mutual partial communication between the Turks and the other people from this region shows their linguistic and cultural influence. This fact indicates the number of words which exists today in the languages of the Balkans’ nations.
With the retreating of the Ottomans from the Balkans and the creation of the Macedonian society, when it is reached the point of analysing the proverbs from the oral tradition it is possible to identify similarities and identical elements. This study is based on the identification and the connection of the historical ties between the two communities in the field of the oral tradition.
