Abstract
THE POETRY JOURNAL WHICH IS REGISTERED IN THE ISTANBUL UNIVERSITY RARE BOOKS LIBRARY NUMBERED TY 105 CALLED CEM‘İYYETÜ’Ş-Şİ‘R
Journals have quite an important place in terms of Classical Turkish Literature history. Particularly, poetry and nazîre journals are the sources of the Classical Turkish Poetry researches with many valuable information, such as the presence of new poems which are not included in the poets' dîvâns, and the poems of poets whose the names are not exist in sources or poems are not available, although the names are known.
The journal, which is the subject of our study, is a poetry journal called Cem?iyyetü’ş-Şi?r registered in the İstanbul University Rare Books Library numbered TY 105. İn the study, primarily, is made general introduction of the journal, after is examined some linguistic feature and concent of 88b-200a foils. The journal, which is compiled in 1209/1794-95 is composed of 208 foils. İn the journal is located poems written in various poetry forms and 131 poets lived in fifteen and eighteen century. These poets and poetry forms that they used with aruz prosody of the poems are given in tables. Because purpose of the study is to introduce the journal and to inform of its content is not made text comparison.
This miscellany work, which our included in anthology feature selected poems category, is presented to benefit of researches with the table that our prepared complying with the Systematic Classification Project of Journals (MESTAP).
