A TWITCH BOOK
The works referred to by the names "Segirmename" or "seğirname" (twitch book) are texts in which various inferences regarding the future of the person are given, as the muscles in a certain region of the body are slightly moved. The “i?tilacname”, made up of Arabic “i?tilac” and Persian “name” words can also be a name for such works. The earliest examples of these types of works, which had become quite popular in ancient times and are understood by the majority of their examples, are encountered in Uighur texts.
As it usually happens from the top of the head to the toes, twitches and the situations that will cause are dealt with as verse and prosaically in valuable works have been done about the twitch book. In this article, it is aimed to contribute to the work done on the subject Borg at the Vatican Library, numbered Borg. Turco 79 as an example of the twitch books, with the transcription of the copy, it was tried to be introduced with general lines. The text, composed of 9 lines, has a volume of 25 pages and contains 138 twitches, 21 of which are related to the eye.
