Abstract
THE FORMATION OF THE TURKISH WORLD IN ANAR’S NOVEL AK KOÇ, KARA KOÇ
Ak Koch Kara Koch is a novel written by Anar Rzayev, one of the magnificent figures of contemporary Azerbaijani literature, in the period after the establishment of the Republic of Azerbaijan Azerbaijani folktale “Malikmammad” inspired author to write this utopian novel of Ak Koch, Kara Koch (White Ram, Black Ram) So, his primary source of inspiration was “Malikmammad”. Social, political, cultural, literary, scientific and economic issues are discussed in the novel and utopian and dystopian tales describe desired and undesirable events.
In the first part of the novel, which consists of two parts, there is an understanding of utopian country. The author designs an imaginary Baku map in which he immortalizes the Turkish World intellectuals. This map is also a vast Turkish World map. In the first utopian section, the ideas of the author, who defends the national and spiritual unity of the Turkish nation at every opportunity, point to the construction of the Turkish World. The United Azerbaijan Republic is depicted as free, democratic, secular state of the Azerbaijan-Turkish nation. Azerbaijan is an integral part of the great Turkish World. The principles of preserving nationality, returning to the root and respecting national values are essential.
Anar, in his novel, with his thoughts pointing to the creation of the Turkish world invites people to be bound together by common values by protecting common historical and cultural heritage.
